THREE RARE WATERCOLOURS

Three beautiful 16th century style, watercolours, each expertly framed to museum quality, on the back is attached in mylar envelope the original backing paper with pencil notes. The paintings each measure 112 x 47mm or 6 x 4 inches. The frame measures 65 x310mm or 12.5 x 10.5 inches. Glass is museum glass.

All three paintings have been extensively researched by Grimwade Conservation Services and it was found that one painting has traces of titanium which thus dates the painting to post 1800. All three paintings are by the same unknown artist and painted on vellum, they were originally mounted on small pieces of wood which are included in the mylar envelope.

All three paintings are of the most exceptional quality and I am proud to offer them at this fair.
